So I'M BACK!
Fall has always been my favorite season but for some reason this year my mind has skipped fall and has moved on to Christmas!
I really like Starbucks and independent coffee shops so let's not get in a fight...I like both!
I have yet to really master making a good cup of coffee at home and there is just something so thrilling about stopping in a coffee shop before coming into work in the mornings.
Why is that so thrilling? You would think saving money and bringing in my own coffee from home would make me more happy but it doesn't.
My go to Starbucks drinks are the iced skinny hazelnut and skinny vanilla lattes.
I love iced coffee even on the coldest winter day.
Why are those my go to drinks? Because they taste pretty good and don't have a million calories.
Well my friends I am so happy to share with you that the seasonal Skinny Peppermint Mocha is back and it is my all time favorite skinny drink at Starbucks.
I tried looking up how to make it at home and did you know that Starbucks used to sell the sugar free peppermint syrup but has since stopped. Why? Because they don't want me to make it at home, they want me to spend $5.47.
I've already bought 2 this week and each time I have told myself "This is ridiculous Jeannie!"
But you know what this drink just makes me so happy.
Is it full of chemicals? I don't know probably.
Should I probably make my own with peppermint leaves that I foraged myself?
Probably but ain't nobody got time for that.
