Ceramic Mexican Style Pumpkin

Agh!
I love this ceramic pumpkin so much!
Wish I could have them in a whole bunch of different styles.

Another Antique Store

I can't remember the name of the second antique store I visited in San Antonio but I loved it.

It had a mixture of new and old items for sale.

I LOVED these old letter wall fixtures.
These bath bombs were in the shapes of cupcakes and sliced cake!
I'm a sucker for vintage Pyrex.
One day I'd like to own some Texas flag wares.
This vintage coffee sign was huge and awesome and would look great in my kitchen.
This is a chandelier made out of "order up" tickets.

I want all these items.

Mariposa

Mariposa is a fantastic and delicious restaurant tucked away inside Neiman Marcus department store in San Antonio, TX.

I've only been for lunch a couple time and each meal has began with a warm popover and strawberry flavored butter.

I always get a cup of their tortilla soup and a big fresh salad.

The dining experience always feels so special.  Plus there's a roller coaster outside the window.

Bush's Chicken

Bush's Chicken is an amazing fast food restaurant throughout Texas.

Their fried chicken is seriously amazing.

I love that their drive thru features a large menu on the side of the restaurant.

An actual person (usually an adorable, sweet teenager) then comes to your car and takes your order in person.  So cute!

Just go for the ice tea!

Myojo Ippeichan Yakisoba

This is my favorite at home yakisoba kit.

I used to eat this same kit all the time in my house in Japan and was thrilled to find it again.

I think what really makes this one great is the little packet of Japanese mayo and mustard.

You can get them on Amazon!

Garden Tea Lounge

My Mother took me to the Garden Tea Lounge inside the Craftiques Mall in San Antonio, TX.

It was such a fun, quirky space.

Everything was mismatched and a bit disheveled but that's kinda what I liked about it.  We had some delicious tea and scones.  It was so much fun and the teenagers who worked there warmed my heart. Such sweet dispositions for teenagers.

After tea we wandered around the store and I found some very interesting items.
This 3D Alamo wall decoration was awesome but had a crack down the side.
Who doesn't need a Jack Nicholson coffee table book?
The first page.
The back.
A ceramic box featuring Prince Andrew and Fergi??? Yes please!  I mean they might be getting back together.
A tea pot in the shape of a coffee shop.
I loved the individual booths in the store.  Sellers design them however they want and each one was unique.  This is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon.

Green Fields Market

I LOVE Green Fields Market in San Antonio, TX.

It's an adorable, cozy, "Whole Foods" type of store.

What I love about it however is that amongst the organic hemp seed and organic black corn tortilla chips you will find Oreos, Cheetos and other junk food.

This store doesn't discriminate and I love them for it.

It's kinda like Treasure Island in Chicago.

I stop in Green Fields daily when I visit my family because I love there drip coffee.

Texas Pecan is the best flavor by far.

The last time we were there my Mom and I tried a few crazy soda flavors.
So far I've only had the Gram's Cracker one.  It was a little too sweet but tasted just like it.  I love fun drinks like this.

Green Fields also has a great selection of pastries.
These are conchas (which means "shell") Mexican sweet bread.

If you live in San Antonio you really should be going to Green Fields.
