AT&T Wireless Stick Thing

Today me and the rest of the cast got these AT&T Wireless USB Internet things.
Basically I now get internet anytime I want.
As long as I get a phone signal...I get internet.
It is AMAZING.

I am currently sitting in the hallway on the cruise boat getting fast internet.
This would have never happened on my last boat.
So please email and facebook away!
Maui is nice....I only went to the mall, ate, saw a movie and went to Walmart but it was all very nice.
Basically we are all trying to get settled.
This week is boat training.
Next week rehearsals.
So I won't be exploring Hawaii for a little while.
However I can't tell you how amazing it was to not have a sea day (on all my other boat runs we were on the ocean anywhere between 1-3 days before touching land).
I can't tell you how amazing it was to be able to see a current movie.
Walmart was amazing!
Anyway I highly recommend these AT&T sticks.
No more hunting for internet cafes.

Hawaii

Hello Loyal Readers!

Well....my holiday is over and tomorrow I am on my way to Hawaii for 8 months!

I am boarding a new cruise boat and will be cruising all around the Hawaiian islands.

I am especially excited because not only will Jeff be coming with me but.....so is Brett!

Aphasia is together at last.

I also love the rest of my cast.

I have been to Hawaii twice.....so I'm imagining it will still look like this....

I will be on a constant search for the cast of LOST.

If there is anyway I can be an extra on an episode I will.

Next week I will be participating in "Survival Training."

I did not have to do this on my last boat so I am a little terrified.

I have to put out a fire....in a full fire fighter outfit!

I'm taking CPR classes and apparently jumping in a pool and flipping over a raft????

I don't know....I mean I have no idea about any of this but I am going to do it!

I mean I was super nervous just taking Drivers Ed!

Remember I am still in the U.S.A so please call me anytime!

Expect lots of updates because the internet will be great.

I love this youtube so much.

John and Wes are on my improv team Mrs. Dad at i.o. Theatre.

They are two of the funniest people I have ever met.

If you ever get a chance to see Guy Friends or any show with these two please go.

They make me smile =)

Mini Grocery Store

Tonight I watched the Jon and Kate plus 8 finale with my bff Anne.

The couple is NOT on the verge of a divorce like all you haters thought.

In the episode Kate took her kids to this museum that had a miniature grocery store.

Anne: Oh my gosh I would have loved that place as a kid.

Jeannie: Oh my gosh me too....I still love it...I kind of want to go now.

I found it odd that I can very easily go down the street to a normal grocery store anytime I want...however I still find the idea of going to this miniature grocery store with FAKE food fascinating.

The only bummer is after you shop there you have to put all the food back!

I would NOT have wanted to do that as a kid.

Tree Man: Search for a Cure

Am I the only one watching TLC?

For the last few days I have seen a preview for a show on TLC about a man who is half man half tree.

The preview terrifies me everytime I see it....yet when I ask people if they have seen it they all say no!

Am I the only one who has seen this preview.

Jane (my collegehood friend) I know YOU must have seen this.

Anyway I can't even bring myself to google this so called Tree Man because I am terrified.

The preview really makes him look like he is half tree and everytime I see it I get so sick to my stomach.

Its like I want to know but I don't.

I mean I really don't....but I still do.

Agh!

I used to be able to watch those medical mystery shows and those murder shows on the We network like Snapped.

Jeff used to be like "Why are you watching this you know you are going to get scared"

I would just shrug him off because it would be like 3pm but sure enough a few days later around 11pm I would get scared about something I watched.

I one time watched an entire afternoon of haunted house shows around Halloween.

Big mistake.

I was scared for a week straight!

So I have to stay away from this tree man.

But it is so tempting.

Like just now when I typed in a google search to look for picture of a tree the first thing that popped up was Tree Man.

Aghhhhhhhhhh!

Spa Bathtubs

Everyone should have one of these tubs in there house!

I mean...I don't but my parents do.

Its like the cheapest way to destress is to take a bath.

In fact when I go to other peoples homes the first thing I like to do is check out there master bathroom.

Often times they have a jacuzzi bath and often times they tell me that they have never used it.

?!?!?????!

Its so fun!

Use it.

I would love to own this heart shaped jacuzzi tub.

If you REALLY want to have a great bath experience drop in a bath bomb from LUSH.

They usually cost around $6 and they are well worth it.

I've been obsessed with them for years!

Cirque Du Soleil "O"

I went to Vegas to meet up with some old girlfriends of mine and see my first Cirque Du Soleil Show.

Heather, Michelle and I went to the Bellagio to try and figure out which Cirque show to see.

We had like 4 or 5 choices but everyone told us to see "O".

Including the ticket lady who graciously gave us each 20% off each ticket.

So they were $170 and I paid like $120.

Big difference.

Oh and I was like in the 5th row.

I only sit in the orchestra section at every theatre show I attend.

Its just not worth it otherwise.

So I'm willing to pay the money.

And I don't go to fancy shows all the time.

Here is the opening of the show.....basically they pretend to pick an audience member out to read the show intro but you soon find out he is part of the show.

I think it is absolutely amazing how they make the curtains dissappear... and so fast.

And its it beautiful how they reveal the water?

Yes I should tell you that the entire show has a water theme.

5 min. before the show starts they play a soundtrack of raindrops falling.

Then the ceiling actually starts to leak.

Then clowns spray everyone a little bit with water.

Its awesome.

You feel water, you see water and you smell water.

I loved it, I'm so glad I saw it, I clapped throughout the entire thing and I gave it a standing "O".

I hate piracy but here is an overview of the show that I found on youtube.

Rainbow Chip Icing

I give you the Holy Grail of all icings......RAINBOW CHIP!!!

It was by sheer coincidence that I stumbled across this random container of icing today as it was mixed in with all the Hershey's Dark Chocolate Icings.

I haven't been able to find proper Rainbow Chip icing in years.

I thought they had discontinued it.

I cannot eat a Funfetti cake without Rainbow Chip frosting.

Some people may try and trick you into thinking these icings are the same thing as Rainbow Chip.

I assure you they are not.

The sprinkles need to already be mixed into the icing.

I am currently baking a delicious Funfetti cake which I am taking to my Mom's friends house.

I'm sure most people will be bringing "homemade" type items.

But be honest would you EVER turn down a piece of Funfetti cake w/ Rainbow Chip icing?

I mean sure the cake box and icing cost under $5 but what comes out of that oven is as good as gold.

My Fave Idol.....So Far

I'm not sure about the hair.....

But this guy can sing.

And he's the only one I've bothered to youtube.

I like Freddy Mercury type singers.

I'm not sure about his dance moves....but I like the vocal.

As for a girl....I guess I like Allison Iraheta...again I don't like her hair or her look.

Guy I'm hopeful for tonight...Scott MacIntyre, Idol's first blind contestant.

What a sweet guy.

Hunger Control Monster!

I am in love with the Weight Watcher mascot "Hungry".

I love how his job is to tempt people with delicious food.

You would think WW would have created a more horrific looking creature to represent your hunger.

This guy is so cute all I want to do is feed him.

Meryl in Doubt

A few days ago my brother and I went to see Doubt.

Having read the play years ago I thought I knew what I was in store for.

Dark, dramatic movie.

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself laughing 4 times in this film.

I mean this movie is by no means a comedy however I am still laughing about certain parts.

To me this means that this is a very well written and well acted movie/ play.

Every good dramatic movie/ play should have things that are hilarious in them.

Think about all the funny parts in Notes on a Scandal and There Will Be Blood.

I mean those movies are terrifyingly dramatic, yet I laughed at least 3 times in each of them.

Here is the clip that my brother and I love and having been quoting to each other all weekend.
