Melissa Griggs!

Jeff's sister Melissa visited us last week and we had an absolute blast!

Here are some pictures from our week!

If I could I would eat the world!

Final scene from our show.

Melissa took all these underwater pictures. She is way more adventurous then me.

Melissa insisted on taking a picture of my bathroom and my room!

Its not as small as it looks!!!

I love shells!

They used to lower this globe with someone in it like 10,000 feet. Scary.

Me singing with the lovely and talented Stacey Ward McAdams.

This is Donald he is only 16 but told Melissa and me to meet him up at deck 12 after midnight. Melissa then told Donald that Jeff was my boyfriend and Donald asked Jeff's if he could please give us hugs. He then gave us all hugs including Jeff.

Survivor Buff....obsessed

About a month ago I was walking in NYC and I noticed Survivor Buffs in the window of the CBS store.

For some reason the store was closed but I vowed that I would come back and buy one.

Well I did and I wore it to the beach!

Only one person asked me if I was actually on Survivor and I had to tell her no.

I love the show Survivor. Jeff has really gotten me hooked on it.

Its just an interesting study of people and its amazing to see trends that arise in every season regardless of race, age, or sex.

I would die if I was on Survivor.

You know how in the opening the cast mates are always on boats and then they all have to swim to shore?

Well I don’t think I would even make it to shore.

I think on the boat I would change my mind and be like “I can’t do this.”

Its for this very reason that I almost want to do Survivor just to see how far I can push myself.

I mean I can’t even push myself to do over 30 min. cardio…but I wonder if I was in the presence of Jeff Probst…..would I try harder?

I think I would make great friends with everyone and would really limit my lying.

I don’t lie.

I also think I would really try and entertain people so that they would keep me around just so they wouldn’t get bored.

Also I would always help keep camp clean!

As for things I would not do…..

I know I would never be able to find the hidden immunity idol.

I would also never get the immunity necklace.

I mean never say never but those challenges are so hard.

If I was on Survivor I would list my occupation as “Receptionist” because I don’t think people would understand “Improvisor” as a title.

Plus its always the losers who list their occupation as “Comedian” or even worse “Clown”

I remember there was one season of the Amazing Race where they had these two guys who were listed as “Clowns” and they were just constantly trying so hard to be funny and goofy and it was just so uncomfortable to watch.

I would however try and do some fun improv games on the island to try and keep morale up.

There’s nothing like a round of “Bad Rap” after your team looses a challenge.

Or even better Categories.

After a tribal council I would be like “O.k. guys lets make a circle…Joe, 5 things you wish you could have said at tribal council…..go.”

(P.S. I am going to vote this guy off Elbow Beach in Bermuda for no reason at all)

Kaylia Morten...dancer extraordinaire

Well two weeks ago I said good bye to the old Jar cast (a.k.a. the dancers on the ship).

I miss them =( Especially Matt, Bodie and April.

I took some pictures of them doing their White Hot Party Dance.

I was wearing a very modest black dress (I actually call it my Debate dress...because I would wear it if I had to do a Debate....and by Debate I mean the improv game Debate where you send two people out of a room and then come up with their debate topic and then call them back in the room and they have to guess what they are debating about by trying to figure out the clues people are feeding them through pantomime) and one of the dancers said I looked like a Mom.

Up until that moment I thought my dress was cool….

One of my favorite dancers Kaylia, in her Australian accent was like “Actually Jeannie you really do look like my Mom.”

So I was like “Well lets take a photo Kaylia and I’ll put it on my blog.”

Then Kaylia was like “Oh my Mother reads your Blog!”

Somehow her Mom stumbled across my blog and has been reading ever since.

Well I just want to dedicate this blog to Kaylia and her Mom.

Kaylia is such a gorgeous dancer. She is the best Witchy Woman EVER!

Thanks for reading the blog ladies!

During my last week in New England Brett came to visit!

If was so fun hanging out with him again.

Jeff and I realized we hadn’t hung out with him since like February cause that was when he first went on a boat.

Then when he got back Jeff and I left.

So it felt like a reunion.

We hung out in Bar Harbor…our old stomping ground and Brett meet us at the dock.

I think the thing that made me laugh the most about Brett’s visit was that he ate before he met up with us.

Jeff and I got off at the dock gave him hugs and then I was like “O.k. so where should we eat?” and Brett was like “Oh I already ate.” And I was like “But its only 11:00” and Jeff was like “What did you think we were going to do together?”

It was so funny and so Brett.

However he did take us on a lovely ride through the mountains.

The leaves are finally beginning to change colors!

Then the 3 of us and our friend April ate at the delicious (and overpriced) Jordan’s Pond House where we had Popovers.

After we ate we headed over to Improv Acadia and hung out with our friends Jen and Larrance.

It was so much fun seeing Brett and Jen pick on each other!

It reminded me of old times.

I can’t wait to hear stories about them on a boat together this winter.

We got to see Brett in Boston as well and of course there was a horrible thunderstorm and we got drenched.

Thankfully Brett lent me some of his pants!!!

We ate at Ye Olde Restaurant and just drove around the city. It was nice being in a car.

Brett is one of my best friends and I hope to see him again real soon.

Rock obsession just a story

On my last day in St. John, Canada, Jeff and I went to the local internet hang out Orbits.

Orbits is a pretty rad place. They have high speed internet as well as huge T.V you can watch or play video games on.

It seemed like a updated version of The Max from Save by the Bell.

In fact I’m pretty sure the guys working there are like 16 years old.
(P.S. What happened to this actor? Remember he would do awful magic tricks on the show!)
Well I was eating my lunch and noticed some high school boys playing Rock Band. One was playing the guitar controller and the other was on the drums so I walked up behind them and was like “Hey do you guys need a singer?”

Neither one of them responded.

So I asked them again and the guy on the drums turned around and was like “What?” then he quickly turned back to the T.V. and got really mad because I guess I made him mess up.

Within seconds both of them failed the song and blamed me!!!!!!!!!!

I told them I was sorry! I mean I’m really good at those games so I would have been an asset.

They pretty much dissed me the whole time but before they left I told them they needed to check out that South Park Episode where the characters play Guitar Hero and take it way too seriously.

Calm down guys!

I never knew how much I loved grass until I didn’t have it anymore.

I found this lovely grassy knoll in Halifax and just started dancing all over it.

Go sit in some grass while you still have the chance!
